QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Current professional employee working full-time at job site
  2. Minimal qualifications will include an AB degree and valid West Virginia Teaching Certificate
  3. Existence of successful teaching experience
  4. Familiarity with technology applications in the school environment
  5. Ability to model/demonstrate research-based strategies for integrating technology
  6. Ability to train personnel in the use of multimedia software and hardware
  7. Experience in organizing and implementing professional development activities
  8. Excellent oral and written communication skills
  9. Excellent interpersonal skills

Responsibilities
  • Submit RESA VI Work Orders - (requires password)
  • Assist RESA VI with software installs as needed
  • Serve on the School Technology Plan Committee
  • Perform annual school tech needs assessment
  • Setup, train and manage teachers’ E-mail
  • Assure all staff and students have AUP in place
  • Assist with technology integration
  • Facilitate and support State Tech. Initiatives
  • Serve on building technology committee
  • Monitor anti-virus issues
  • Develop a student technology assistance team
  • Assist implementation Benchmarking
  • Maintain updated school e-mail list
  • Assist with basic troubleshooting as needed
  • Record and manage building IP assignments
  • Assist principal with Digital Divide Survey
  • Support teacher use of video streaming
  • Work with building webmaster (design & content)
  • Work with county technology coordinator as required
  • Disseminate technology information to staff
  • Manage and/or assist with building servers
  • Perform routine hardware maintenance
  • Assist with Deep Freeze where applicable
