We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Technology Finance Manager.

In this role, you will:

• Responsibility for supporting the Technology Finance Team in providing accurate Forecast and Management Information reporting and incisive analysis of the Technology operating expenses.
• Provide accurate navigation of the costs to significant others with a thorough understanding of the cost profile including investments, efficiencies, inflation, growth areas and so on.
• Direct accurate tracking and recording of Technology performance against Target (accurate Forecast).
• You will collaborate with senior management within Technology, Finance and the broader business management teams.
• Technology is at the heart of the future of Banking and is firmly at the center of the business strategy within HSBC. The business and stakeholders are diverse in nature and location and Technology has an ongoing target to continually improve the efficiency of the function and the organisation. You will engage and collaborate to influence others throughout the bank.
• As the core Technology Finance team is small it is key to leverage assistance from the broader Finance community, improve the exiting processes and identify efficiencies to be more effective.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU SHOULD MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Knowledge of Anaplan / Power BI in model builder will be advantageous.
• Demonstrable experience with data analytics and modelling outputs based on a large dataset.
• Business partnering experience within a cost management or analysis function.
• Collaborative, engaging, credible and methodical; being able to bring the numbers to life (e.g., presenting).
• Experience of building and maintaining strong relationships with senior stakeholders (all levels of seniority).
  The base location for this role will be Sheffield and with a hybrid working pattern.
