We are looking for a Hardware Analyst to join a growing and dynamic team. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing the lifecycle of all hardware assets, including procurement, asset tracking, auditing, and disposal. You will be the main point of contact for Hardware Asset Management queries and therefore will be required to understand departmental and Company business needs, objectives, and contribution to these goals.
Collaborating with our managed service partners and internal teams to understand strategy and policies, driving efficiencies across the organisation to achieve optimum value. You will support decision making through provision of regular management information.
You will bring at least three years of experience in Hardware Asset Management, ideally in a retail or fast-paced environment. Experience within the HAM tooling space including ServiceNow/SAM Pro or similar. Ideally you will possess a deep understanding of Tier 1 hardware vendors and experience of managing the end-to-end Hardware Asset Management Lifecyle.
Attention to detail is key to this role, you will be confident in producing MI Reporting to a high standard. A dynamic, self-motivated, inquisitive, and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL DO AS A TECHNOLOGY HARDWARE ASSET MANAGEMENT ANALYST

  • Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of hardware assets, from procurement to retirement.
  • Maintain a comprehensive inventory of all hardware assets within Primark.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date records in the ITAM tooling ensuring data continuity and accuracy within ServiceNow CMDB.
  • Implement, maintain, and continually improve policies, standards, processes and procedures for hardware asset management.
  • Operate within governance frameworks to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
  • Conduct regular reviews of policies to ensure they remain effective and up to date.
  • Utilise best practices to optimize the hardware asset management lifecycle.
  • Work with Finance, Procurement, and cross-functional technology teams to negotiate and manage contracts with hardware vendors.
  • Provide guidance and support to business units on hardware matters.
  • Generation of regular reports on hardware asset lifecycle status, budget status, cost savings.
  • Define and provide KPI/Metric information and standardised reporting on a scheduled basis together with unscheduled reporting requested by management.
  • Responsible for end-to-end hardware procurement lifecycle including raising purchase orders, goods receipting and invoicing. Ensuring data is validated and new assets uploaded into ServiceNow CMDB.
  • Managing and maintaining hardware stock levels, across all regions, to ensure that levels are sufficient and stock records are accurately recorded within ServiceNow CMDB, working closely with both internal and 3rd Party teams, and providing regular reports to key stakeholders.
