Responsibilities

PURPOSE OF ROLE

The Technology Implementation Manager is responsible for delivering the technical elements of ISP’s global EdTech rollout, ensuring that devices and infrastructure are procured, configured, and deployed on time and to standard. The role is hands-on and works in close coordination with Regional Heads of Technology and school IT teams to implement, adopt, and maintain ISP’s technology standards. It plays a key role in supporting both EdTech and infrastructure goals, while contributing to long-term school improvement and digital maturity across the group.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of devices and infrastructure for ISP’s EdTech rollout, ensuring alignment with technical standards and timelines.
  • Manage global procurement of devices and related technology, including vendor coordination and cost-effective sourcing.
  • Coordinate with regional and school tech leads to assess school readiness, scope infrastructure upgrades, and support implementation.
  • Oversee logistics and deployment, including ordering, storage, shipping, and local distribution to schools.
  • Oversee device setup and configuration, ensuring equipment is fully operational and aligned to standards before handover.
  • Ensure structured handover to school-based IT teams, with documentation, training, and support to sustain operations.
  • Align delivery with the EdTech roadmap, working closely with the EdTech Delivery Manager to stay in sync on timelines and priorities.
  • Track rollout progress, identify risks or delays, and report status updates with clear visibility on adoption and readiness.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with regional and school IT teams, supporting delivery through clear guidance and collaboration.
  • Contribute to technology planning, including digital maturity tracking, forecasting future demand, and refining technical standards.
