Job Description Get to Know the Team The Strategy and Projects (S&P) team works with partners across all departments in Grab to lead continuous improvements and lead special projects which would contribute to overall growth of the business. The team generates business insights, propose data-driven strategic plans and lead large projects to grow the business across Mobility, Deliveries ( GrabFood, GrabMart, GrabExpress) and Jaya Grocer. Get to Know the Role We are looking for a hands-on and versatile Software Engineer to join our team and work across both web development and automation tasks and has experience and understanding of online processes. This role is ideal for you if you enjoy building fast and working products with modern tools. You will report into the Strategy and Projects, Manager and be based in Petaling Jaya, working onsite. The Critical Tasks You Will Perform You will build full stack web applications using Python, ASP.NET and ReactJS, Shopify You will develop scripts and tools to automate repetitive tasks and workflows You will integrate APIs, Databases, and third-party services You will explore the possibilities of AI application You will maintain the documentations for the developments done by you Qualifications What Essential Skills You Will Need You have Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). You have a minimum 4 years experience in Full Stack development and Software Engineering preferably within an online business. You have proficiency in backend (C#, Python, NodeJS) and frontend (ASP.NET, React) languages You have ASP.NET, C#, Python, and ReactJS You have experience with REST APIs You have understanding of RDBMS and SQL and database operations You have understanding of version control systems like Azure DevOps/ GitLab Good to have skills You have experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms You have experience in Shopify You have familiarity with AI, ML and OCR tools You have experience with version control systems like GitHub / GitLab/ Azure DevOps and developing Git branching approaches You have experience with SignalR, SocketIO Additional Information Life at Grab We care about your well-being at Grab, here are some of the global benefits we offer: We have your back with Term Life Insurance and comprehensive Medical Insurance.
