Sturgeon Public Schools is seeking a Part-Time Temporary Technology Lead Teacher to support the integration of technology across the Division. This position plays a key role in advancing teaching and learning by collaborating with teachers, administrators, and district staff to develop, implement, and support technology-driven instructional practices.

Responsibilities
  • Act as a liaison between teachers, school leaders, and central office departments to ensure instructional and technical needs are aligned and addressed
  • Lead professional learning in educational technologies, digital resources, and online learning environments
  • Support implementation of new curriculum and evidence-based instructional practices
  • Provide coaching and in-class support to staff to strengthen technology integration
  • Support assessment practices, including PowerTeacher Pro, digital reporting, IPPs, and online tools
  • Organize and lead division-wide STEAM competitions and related events
  • Work with Learning Services and support teams to ensure students with diverse needs have access to required technology and equipment

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor of Education and valid Alberta Teaching Certificate
  • Demonstrated classroom teaching experience and successful integration of technology into instruction
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience leading professional learning and presenting to staff
  • Growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning
  • Expertise in curriculum, instruction, and assessment practices
  • Graduate studies or related coursework (asset)
  • Clear Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check
