We are seeking a forward-thinking Technology Manager to lead technical strategy and innovation across the North American region. This role provides technical leadership to the Lead Center, overseeing the development and implementation of new product and process technologies. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative leader with a strong background in engineering, manufacturing excellence, and cross-functional coordination.

Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic and technical leadership for product and process development, ensuring alignment with global standards and industry benchmarks.
  • Lead the specification, acquisition, and implementation of new equipment and tooling to support advanced manufacturing practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Manufacturing, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality) to introduce new technologies that support growth and operational improvement goals.
  • Coordinate with global technical teams to align on technology strategies and standardization.
  • Manage and mentor technical staff, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Analyze current and future business needs to develop and execute long-term technology roadmaps.
  • Oversee multiple concurrent projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and alignment with customer expectations.
  • Serve as the primary technical liaison for customer engagements, including prototype development, PPAP coordination, and technology presentations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, including customers, suppliers, and global affiliates.
  • Standardize equipment specifications and lead the vision for future manufacturing capabilities.
  • Support APQP projects and collaborate closely with Product Development teams across all product lines.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality policies, and lead initiatives that support the Freudenberg Group’s Guiding Principles.
  • Represent the organization in discussions with international regulatory bodies and contribute to the evolution of internal standards and codes.
