You lead client data implementations, managing the full data lifecycle—from initial preparation, mapping, and enrichment to seamless integration with our Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) and ongoing support. Your role is critical in aligning business needs with technical solutions, driving continuous improvement, and delivering exceptional client experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead client data onboarding and integration initiatives, ensuring successful implementation and long-term support.
  • Act as the primary technical liaison between external clients, internal business groups, developers, and IT teams.
  • Translate business and data requirements into detailed functional mapping specifications within a data warehouse environment.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of data processes, including operational runbooks and data mapping.
  • Conduct exploratory data analyses to identify and resolve data issues, ensuring data quality through rigorous review and testing.
  • Provide regular data status updates, coordinate reporting requests, and communicate insights to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Monitor and escalate data irregularities, ensuring compliance and integrity across systems.
  • Partner with IT to analyze system development needs, proactively address technical challenges, and prioritize solutions.
  • Support change management, incident tracking, and problem resolution processes.
  • Develop and present operational reports and dashboards using tools like Excel, Power BI, and SQL.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline operations and enhance service delivery processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize tasks and manage competing deadlines.
  • Champion the voice of the customer, ensuring alignment between client expectations and internal execution.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in insurance or a related industry with analytical responsibilities.
  • Proven track record of leading successful client data implementations and managing the full data lifecycle.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a focus on data quality and process improvement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel (formulas, formatting), Visio, Power BI, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SQL.
  • Familiarity with database processing techniques, APIs, and relational database principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated initiative and ownership of responsibilities; comfortable working independently and collaboratively.
  • Professional demeanor with strong presentation and customer service skills.
  • Passion for continuous improvement and leveraging data insights to optimize processes.
