Description
The Technology Platform Lead – Corporate Platforms will set and align technology strategies for Goodman’s HR, Legal, and corporate applications. Working with internal teams and external vendors, this role develops a unified tech roadmap for tools like Cornerstone, DocuSign, LinkedIn Learning, Workshare Compare, Diligent Board Books, Legal LLMs, and other systems as needed. Responsibilities include overseeing technical design, integration, security, compliance, budget, and performance, acting as the main point of contact for technical issues and escalations related to corporate technology. This role would best suit a technically capable individual who enjoys stakeholder engagement as a core part of their role. Key responsibilities will include Platform Development and Strategy: Develop and communicate a long-term technology strategy and roadmap for HR, Legal, and other corporate applications, ensuring alignment with Goodman’s business needs and compliance requirements. Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to design technical architectures that maximize value and support organizational goals. Manage the budgets across all platforms in this space. System Performance / Reliability / Support: Liaise with HR, Legal, IT, and vendor partners to ensure efficient operation and support of all corporate platforms. Oversee and prioritize DevOps boards or support queues to address both business and technical requests through sprint cycles or service management processes. Manage key activities for critical platforms, including upgrades, patching, disaster recovery testing, and vulnerability responses. Maintain an effective support model and proactively identify opportunities for improvement. Enhance/Innovate/Projects: Review and design new platform architecture solutions to meet evolving corporate business opportunities and challenges. Provide technical expertise on larger infrastructure or integration projects involving HR, Legal, and other corporate systems. Assist business teams in planning post-implementation support for new systems and functionality. About you Natural collaborator: You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and business stakeholders. Your ability to communicate effectively and foster teamwork with a diverse range of stakeholders will be key to our success. Strong commercial acumen: Ability to communicate complex technical matters to a commercial team and to interpret commercial needs into technical requirements. Experience with Legal and HR technology platforms: You should have an understanding of Docusign, Cornerstone, Diligent Board Books, and/or other similar systems CI/CD expertise: Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) using Azure DevOps. Security focus: Ensuring the Annual Disaster Recovery and Penetration Tests are performed and remediated where needed is critical. Continuous learner: The digital landscape is always evolving.
