We are looking for a Technology Platform Lead to support our client on a greenfield project.

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE:

  • 10+ years across software engineering and architecture; 3+ years leading platform and solution delivery for multi-channel products.
  • Owned platform roadmaps/backlogs; shipped iterative platform capabilities linked to product outcomes/OKRs.
  • Hands-on with cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure), Docker, API gateway/service mesh, event streaming (e.g. Kafka), CI/CD & Terraform, and observability.
  • Embedded security/privacy and compliance by design; ran incident/change/problem practices; managed partners to SLAs with knowledge transfer.
  • Practice building: hiring/mentoring, standards, guilds; drive DoR/DoD and DevEx/DORA improvements across multiple teams.

Responsibilities
  • Architecture & guardrails: Define target architecture and NFRs; publish reference implementations the teams adopt.
  • Engineering practice leadership: Grow and evolve the engineering team and culture; hiring, onboarding, coaching, and showing by doing; run guilds, code reviews, and DoR/DoD quality gates; measure DevEx (e.g. DORA).
  • Golden paths & enablement: Ship reusable templates, CI/CD + IaC kits, and standards; drive adoption across squads; pair program to unblock.
  • Platform & runtime stewardship: Operate reliable, observable, cost-efficient foundations (K8s/APIs/events); own SLOs/error budgets and post-incident learning.
  • Integrated delivery & partners: Maintain the integrated backlog with Product & Experience and Data Practice leads; sequence releases; manage vendors to SLAs with knowledge transfer.
  • Partner & vendor orchestration: Lead partners to clear outcomes, SLAs, and knowledge transfer, managing risks and inter-team dependencies.
