IPConfigure’s Orchid VMS platform and SteelFin Appliances have been successfully deployed in facilities ranging from quick service restaurants to international ports, hospitals, and universities.

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled and strategic Technology Procurement Manager to join our procurement team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies for all technology-related purchases, ensuring that the organization acquires high-quality goods and services at competitive prices. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills, a deep understanding of the interoperability between technology products and services, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various departments.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Strong understanding of technology procurement processes, market trends, and vendor landscape.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in procurement software and tools; experience with ERP systems preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT/Technology procurement

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute procurement strategies for technology products and services aligned with organizational goals.
  • Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, negotiating contracts, and vendor management.
  • Collaborate with engineering and other departments to analyze technology needs and identify solutions that best meet business requirements.
  • Monitor market trends, supply chain risks, and technology advancements to identify potential opportunities for procurement optimization.
  • Negotiate and finalize contracts and agreements with suppliers and service providers.
  • Monitor procurement budgets and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors to foster collaboration and support.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and initiate improvement plans as needed.
  • Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, cost savings, and market analysis to senior management.
  • Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements in all procurement activities.
