About this role This role sits within Preqin, a part of BlackRock. Preqin plays a key role in how we are revolutionizing private markets data and technology for clients globally, complementing our existing Aladdin technology platform to deliver investment solutions for the whole portfolio. We are building BlackRock’s nextgeneration, AIfirst platform for acquiring, validating, and extracting private markets data. We are building scalable, intelligent workflows that power automated extraction across the firm. We are seeking an Associate Product Manager to join one of the platform teams. You will work closely with engineers, and product managers to help shape and deliver core platform capabilities. Key ResponsibilitiesDiscovery & Requirements Partner with internal teams to understand workflows and identify highvalue problems. Run structured discovery to validate needs and translate them into clear, testable requirements. Define expected outcomes, KPIs, and success criteria for features and releases. Backlog & Roadmap Management Own and prioritise the team backlog with clear requirements and acceptance criteria. Contribute to quarterly planning and help shape the platform roadmap. Ensure alignment with platform-wide principles and reusable patterns. Delivery Collaborate with engineering throughout refinement, development, and release cycles. Drive iterative feedback loops with users and stakeholders. Translate complex platform concepts into actionable guidance for engineers. Support functional testing as part of the product delivery lifecycle. Support release readiness, documentation, and postlaunch monitoring. CrossTeam Collaboration Partner with other Product Managers to maintain consistency across the platform. Build strong working relationships with engineering, data, and operations teams across BlackRock. Participate in discussions on scalability, governance, and longterm platform direction. RequirementsSkills & Experience Experience gathering requirements and working with engineering teams to deliver product capabilities. Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to simplify complexity. Comfortable operating in a fastmoving environment with evolving priorities. Exposure to workflow tools, data platforms, or developerfacing products is a plus. Mindset Usercentric, curious, and eager to learn. Detailoriented, especially around testing, validation, and release accuracy. Collaborative and comfortable working with designers, engineers, and data specialists.
