JOB DESCRIPTION

Carnival UK is seeking a Delivery Manager to lead the transformation of our flight booking services, ensuring seamless guest journeys from home to ship. This role is pivotal in delivering complex, high-impact technology solutions that connect air travel with our cruise operations.
We’re hiring for a Technology Product Manager, but we’re advertising it as a Delivery Manager because we want to speak directly to people who are passionate about making things happen.
This role is all about end-to-end ownership: from shaping product direction to ensuring smooth delivery with cross-functional teams. You’ll be the person who connects the dots between user needs, business goals, and technical execution—leading delivery while influencing product strategy.

ABOUT US

Holidays are one of life’s greatest pleasures. Having the chance to relax, escape and explore is a magical thing. And there is no better holiday than a cruise.
No one knows cruising like Carnival UK, where talented people from across the globe come together to create unforgettable holiday happiness. As part of the world’s largest holiday travel and leisure company, we take enormous pride in bringing to life two of the most iconic brands from Britain’s rich seafaring heritage, P&O Cruises and Cunard. Collectively they have been delivering unbridled joy, boundless adventure and lifelong memories to millions of people for over 350 years. And in a multi-million pound global holiday market, where cruising has barely scratched the surface, we have the opportunity to do that for many, many more people.
Our diverse yet tight knit teams share high standards, heartfelt values and passion for our purpose. Our Culture Essentials describe the expectations we have for ourselves and of each other, in building a culture that supports safe, sustainable, compliant operations and celebrates diversity, equity and inclusion.
It’s through the successful delivery of these extraordinary travel experiences for our target markets and our distinctive culture, that we hope to become Travel’s Employer of Choice.

Responsibilities

THIS ROLE IS FOR YOU IF YOU:

  • Have a product mindset but love being close to delivery.
  • Enjoy working with engineers, designers, and stakeholders to bring ideas to life.
  • Are comfortable owning both the “what” and the “how.”
As we modernize our legacy systems, this role will focus on orchestrating the delivery of integrated, scalable, and resilient flight solutions. You’ll work across teams to ensure that our guests experience a smooth and coordinated transition from air to sea.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • End-to-End Product Leadership: Lead the full lifecycle of technology products across domains such as F&B, POS, and allergens—from ideation and development through to implementation, optimisation, and retirement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Drive alignment and execution across engineering, operations, commercial, and shipboard teams, ensuring delivery meets business needs and guest expectations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure product outcomes are aligned with strategic goals and operational realities.
  • Infrastructure Awareness: Oversee delivery of solutions that may involve physical infrastructure, ensuring integration with legacy systems and alignment with modernisation efforts.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and lead cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Continuous Improvement: Use data, feedback, and performance metrics to refine delivery processes and enhance service quality.
  • Travel: Occasional international travel to ships and ports, including some evening and weekend work.
Positioned within our internal structure from CUK15 (entry level) to CUK1 (Brand President), this role is classified as a CUK06, offered as a full-time position, on a permanent basis. We offer hybrid work including up to two days from home.
