Do work that matters: As a Technical Product Owner, you will drive important initiatives across all Retail Tech Business domains, being responsible for the technical design, development, and rollout of key initiatives to our end-users. You’ll help uplift our engineering, automation, and DevSecOps capabilities, while driving a cultural shift towards security & quality-first and AI-powered development. You’ll ensure our platforms leverage industry-leading tools and practices that are scalable, resilient, and efficient. You’ll be part of DevSecOps COE which sits in the Retail Technology Engineering Domain. This team is responsible for driving maturity uplift in DevSecOps practices across Retail Tech. Our mission is to helps engineers across our organisation deliver application changes quickly, safely and more efficiently. We do this by looking at ways to streamline and drive simplification in DevSecpOps tooling, technologies, & processes and by smarter automation, AI, and intelligent data processing. We’re interested in hearing from people who: Have an application development background and are passionate about adopting and promoting DevSecOps best practices, with key focus on Continuous Testing practice. Are able to translate product vision to roadmap and backlog Demonstrate advanced commercial acumen and stakeholder engagement skills Pride themselves in their communication and Influencing skills Are constantly thinking outside the box, and breaking boundaries to solve complex technical problems. Works well in teams and have strong collaboration skills in driving continuous improvement initiatives. Are well versed with solution architecture, technology blueprints, AI/ML engineering roadmaps, and can translate the project vision, including AI deployment into actionable plans. Experienced with Agile methodology, working within an Agile Matrix would be ideal. Tech Skills: We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We don’t expect you to know them all but experience or exposure with some of these will set you up for success in this team: Experience working in high-performing engineering team, with technical background in developing software application using .NET, Java, TypeScript, Python or similar in AI/ML and cloud settings. Able to promote DevOps culture of CI/CD pipelines and Automation supported by world-class tools. Leading and developing the product roadmap, and engagement with senior stakeholders to help manage the delivery of product roadmap. Act as the voice of the customer and business and being able to translate this into product backlog for the squad. Ability to contribute to strategy, AI solution architecture, and translate these into pragmatic engineering design decisions. Thorough understanding of large-scale distributed systems, solution design, AI-powered architectures, and foundational principles for building robust, intelligent services. Working knowledge of public cloud engineering – AWS preferred.
