TECHNOLOGY PRODUCT OWNER:

On behalf of our client, Procom is searching for a Technology Product Owner for a permanent role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

TECHNOLOGY PRODUCT OWNER - JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Technology Product Owner will be responsible for overseeing the product strategy and development roadmap. This includes guiding technical and architectural changes, aligning with business needs, and ensuring the delivery of business value. The role involves close coordination with stakeholders to communicate the product vision and manage the product backlog.

TECHNOLOGY PRODUCT OWNER - MANDATORY SKILLS:

  • Considerable experience in Agile Development
  • Experience managing product backlog and writing detailed user stories
  • Minimum of five years of experience in managing teams
  • Minimum of three years of experience in product and development
  • Minimum of two years of experience driving and delivering product roadmaps
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate complex messages
  • Strong strategic and critical thinker

TECHNOLOGY PRODUCT OWNER – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

  • Experience with Category 1 or Category 2 Gaming Assistant Registration
  • Strong consultative skills with a sense of team and customer service
  • Ability to negotiate and influence effectively
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Experience in managing the transition to modern ways of working
Responsibilities
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of both the business and the product
  • Guide technical and architectural changes while aligning the product development roadmap
  • Communicate the vision, capabilities, and value proposition behind the product
  • Coordinate with stakeholders and the EIT team to align the vision with business needs
  • Participate in discovery meetings with business stakeholders
  • Own the end-to-end product strategy from inception
  • Align product features, provide feedback, and prioritize user stories
  • Build, improve, and manage backlog in collaboration with the delivery team
  • Champion customer-driven design and conduct continual research
  • Drive sprint and release plans with the Scrum Master and EIT delivery teams
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators
