SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

As an experienced Vice President / Director, you will have:

  • Strategic program management proven experience (minimum 8 to 10 years) in a client-facing capacity or related banking field within Financial Services.
  • Leverage key opportunities in the region to build healthy pipeline of projects.
  • Program Management expertise: managing end to end client projects, and internal and client governance, scoping, sizing and estimations of change needed, management of design, build and implementation cycles in collaboration with client and internal tech teams.
  • Business savvy Understanding of Fin Crime / CLM end to end in large financial institutions.
  • A complete understanding of time and material and fixed contracting models.
  • Experience creating Statement of Work, pricing and payments managing plans and budgets.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey project delivery matters to diverse audiences.
  • Evidence of managing a globally distributed Change / Professional Services or technical implementations team.
  • Experience working with clients remotely in other geographic locations.

ROLE SUMMARY

This specific role is within the Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) technology transformation area (Financial Economic Crime, especially Client Onboarding, Maintenance, Offboarding). This role requires experience and knowledge managing dispersed teams, technical analysis, software design & implementation, configurations, deployments, release control in line with IT strategy and enterprise technical standards as well as the ability to manage client relationships.
There are high expectations that this area will grow at Delta Capita, and hence experience of onward business development in region will be an asset.
As a Project Manager, you will work directly with our product and business leads, technical consultants, developers, testers, and other configuration specialists, supporting implementation ensuring Delta Capita (DC) delivers to the highest standards. You will manage delivery of projects to implement new software for clients, or changes to implementation ensuring optimal quality.
You will report to the Global head of transformation based in London, in a growing area both in terms of headcount but also technology strategy.
This is to oversee a transformation / professional services team across several APAC locations, delivering across several clients (with staff in India, Singapore, Aus, HK and beyond).
Expectations will extend to elements of commercial business development, supporting budgets / statement of work creation and negotiation of further opportunities with clients.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial services, exceptional problem-solving skills, project management experience, the ability to manage, motivate and inspire others, and a proven track record of delivering successful client engagements. You will have deep change management experience and prior success as a project manager in software development.
This is to help build and enhance an existing team that develops and implements software that is focused on providing Client Onboarding and KYC solutions to financial institutions, with complex clients and products. It combines the necessary components of Data Model, Client Hierarchy, Workflow, Business Rules, Data Management, and Documentation Management for the purpose of Client Onboarding and KYC.

THE ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This role is ideal for someone with a mix of consulting experience, client management experience, business savvy, entrepreneurial spirit, and drive for commercial success. You will combine platform delivery and SDLC (software delivery lifecycle) know-how, a can-do attitude, and a strong hands-on expertise with design and implementations within the financial services industry.

Responsibilities include:

  • Acts as key client relationship and account manager conduit for existing clients and potential new client pipelines in region.
  • Plans, executes, monitors and delivers ongoing projects that involve scoping, estimations, design and implementation of client lifecycle management platform for APAC region.
  • Manages and works collaboratively with client-side delivery teams, internal 3rd party vendors, tech partners, contractor, product verticals, legal and business management/ finance teams to ensure program is operated smoothly in the region.
  • Crafts and presents compelling delivery proposals, specifically for major accounts in the region Leads APAC projects pipelines, program governance, steering committee decks/reports and mitigate impediments via escalation to senior management attention, if unable to resolve regionally during the week.
  • Hands on with budget planning, revenue forecasting, PnV reporting, resource utilisation management for overall APAC revenue and margin management.
  • Drives long term revenue and profitability, identifying trends about surplus/deficit utilizations, margins across multiple project workstreams running in parallel in APAC.
  • Leads work order estimation collaboratively with tech PM and clients’ test managers.
  • Defines statements of work for projects, and coordinates budgets, payments invoicing forecasting with business management. Manages APAC invoice scheduling and reviews numbers invoiced for both client license agreements and statement of work contracts.
  • Collaborates with technical consultants and product owners across broader firm to set expectations with client facing delivery/product leads, BAs and testing teams.
  • Oversees platform design, development, and implementation of configuration software changes (GoldTier).
  • Responsible for overall program governance and working with in-house partner teams to ensure the delivery scope and quality are met. Updates and approves project teams’ holidays, time tracking, issue tracking and reporting systems in a timely manner.
  • Well versed with both SDLC waterfall and agile framework for project operations using tools such as Jira, Kanban and Confluence. Updates and approves project teams’ holidays, time tracking, issue tracking and reporting systems in a timely manner.
