Location: Newbury + *Hybrid
Salary: Excellent basic salary plus bonus and Vodafone benefits

Working Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week – Mon to Fri

WHO YOU ARE

  • You will demonstrate a broad range of experience in End-to-End project delivery utilising lean program governance and a keen understanding of modern engineering.
  • You will have experience in managing high complex projects & large transformation programmes with cross functional impact across a number of technical systems.
  • You will understand both application and software development lifecycle.
  • You will have experience in managing cross cultural teams & working with system integrators / 3rd parties
  • You will preferably have management experience leading a team of 5 or more people.
  • You will demonstrate great stakeholder management skills and feel comfortable working with senior stakeholders to deliver regular programme updates.
  • You will be able to demonstrate waterfall and SAFe Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

As a Technology Programme Manager, you will lead the delivery and governance of multiple large-scale project and programmes with the autonomy to drive lean governance principles and controls across your programs in your own way.

  • You will be responsible for end-to-end management and delivery of new Technology capability or enhancements to current Technology capability.
  • You will compile & own your Project Plan, bringing together multiple plans and dependencies across a range of teams (sprint, scrum, test, integrate, release, and more) into one overarching perspective and plan.
  • You will be regularly managing RAID (risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies), governing milestones, and receipting adherence in line with your project plan.
  • You will be embedding lean governance operating models, valuing ownership, responsiveness, predictability, and transparent delivery over pre-prepared project reporting.
  • You will be managing the project finances and supplier commercials, including internal Capex/Opex.
  • You will set and adjust budget forecast for the project, based on business dynamics and historical trends of delivery.
  • You will often be establishing a heartbeat of reviews and reporting to the Digital Portfolio Manager & partnering closely for a successful outcome.
