Job Description: As a Technology Project Manager Global supporting the Agentic AI – ETO Support Pod, you’ll help deliver intelligent AI capabilities that simplify complex internal technology workflows and improve how enterprise Teams operate at scale. This pod focuses on building agent‑led AI solutions that support back‑office and Technology Teams—enabling faster resolution, better efficiency, and more consistent outcomes across platforms. In this role, you’ll manage medium‑ to high‑complexity initiatives end‑to‑end, partnering with Product, Engineering, Data, Security, and Operations Teams to plan roadmaps, manage dependencies, and drive Agile delivery. You’ll bring structure and clarity to execution by tracking scope, timeline, risk, and milestones, while supporting testing, acceptance, and stakeholder alignment throughout the lifecycle. This role offers the opportunity to grow your program management skills within a fast‑moving AI environment, contributing to enterprise technology solutions that directly enable Southwest Teams to better serve Customers every day. Responsibilities Define complex project plans/roadmaps including scope, budget and schedule, and execute tasks defined in the project plan to achieve project goals using standard project management methodologies and practices Assess project needs and resources continually to complete projects on time and within budget while managing log of risks, issues, mitigation strategies, and decisions Drive testing and acceptance of project results Partner with resource managers, Business Partners and vendors to assemble a project Team and provide ongoing motivation to drive projects to completion Lead and facilitate project meetings and presentations to Leadership Establish and execute a project communication plan to maintain project alignment Drive Teams and Customers toward decisions Establish cross functional alliances within and outside of the Technology Department to drive results Build partnerships to collaborate and use influence without authority to gather Customer and business requirements and communicate effectively with all project Teams and Support groups Work with development teams to ensure work is completed as planned and follow analytical methods for task execution/tracking and budget/timeline tracking May perform other job duties as directed by Employees' Leaders Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Advanced knowledge of project processes, problem management tools and procedures Knowledge of Agile development practices and ceremonies Proficient knowledge of application impact on operational and business functions Skilled in strong Customer Service and Team orientation Ability to build relationships and influences without authority Skilled in active listening, presenting, and facilitating team and stakeholder meetings Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas using all forms of communication Ability to maintain composure under pressure and accurately assess problem situations Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, collaborative, Team based environment while directing teams to complete tasks by scheduled completion date Skilled in Leadership to direct performance of outside Contractors and maintain positive relationships with internal Customers Education Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field and/or equivalent formal training Experience Required: Advanced-level experience, seasoned and specialized knowledge in project management 5-7 years of relevant work-related experience 3+ years experience in Tech program management for AI/ML or platform programs 2+ years working knowledge of AI/LLM concepts 3+ years experience in Cross-functional orchestration across product, eng, data, security 3+ years experience with Risk, dependency, and milestone management on complex programs 3+ years experience in Agile/Scrum/SAFe delivery at program level Preferred: AWS cloud program experience ETO/ITSM/back-office automation programs PMP/SAFe/SPC certifications US–India delivery dependency management Jira Advanced Roadmaps/Confluence reporting Other Qualifications Must meet confidentiality expectations as to confidential, proprietary and sensitive Company information Ability to work extended hours as needed Southwest Airlines is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
