Position Title: Part-Time Tech Specialist
Reports to: Pastor / Worship Leader
Hours: 8 hours per week (including Sundays and occasional special events).
Compensation: Hourly

POSITION SUMMARY

Our church is seeking a dedicated Tech Specialist to oversee and to operate audio, video, and streaming systems for worship services, special events, and occasional off-site activities. This role combines hands-on technical operation with proactive maintenance, ensuring a high-quality experience for both in-person and online worshippers.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for excellence in technical production, the ability to troubleshoot quickly, and a heart for the “behind-the-scenes” magic that helps to tell stories and to serve others.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in live sound mixing and audio engineering.
• Familiarity with streaming platforms (YouTube, Facebook Live, etc.) and encoding software.
• Working knowledge of projection software (ProPresenter preferred).
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software under time pressure.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Team player who’s able to work well with staff and volunteers.
