Description The Technology Specialist provides advanced application development and system support for RPITMS. This role is responsible for developing, enhancing, troubleshooting, and maintaining Microsoft Power Platform solutions and SharePoint-based business applications supporting critical Navy research protection operations. The Technology Specialist works closely with technical leadership and Government stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and user-friendly solutions. Key Responsibilities Application Development Design and develop applications utilizing Microsoft Power Platform technologies. Configure and customize SharePoint Online solutions. Develop automated workflows and business process solutions. Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Power BI. System Maintenance & Enhancement Troubleshoot system issues and implement corrective actions. Analyze system performance and identify improvement opportunities. Support implementation of approved system enhancements and upgrades. Maintain technical documentation. Requirements Analysis Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements. Analyze existing processes and recommend automation opportunities. Assist in development of technical specifications and system designs. User Support Assist with issue resolution and help desk support. Support deployment activities and user acceptance testing. Participate in training and knowledge transfer activities. Requirements Four (4) years of experience developing and supporting management information systems. Experience developing, testing, and troubleshooting Microsoft Power Platform applications. Experience with SharePoint Online. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree. Microsoft Power Platform certification. Experience supporting Navy or DoD systems. Experience with federal compliance and governance environments.
Responsibilities
