Powered by America’s youth, we host a media outlet, produce educational materials and facilitate dialogue intended to make America a better country. Job Description At OUR NATIONAL CONVERSATION, we use a lot of platforms and systems: WordPress, Bluehost, MailChimp, EventBrite, Slack, Substack, Zoom, OBS, Canva, Google Drive, Outlook, GoDaddy, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Libsyn, Spotify, ChatGPT, SmartRecruiters, Handshake, etc. We are looking for a student intern who will serve as our platform/systems/technical support. Some of the following may apply (depending on the intern's ability): Help desk support: Triage incoming tickets (email/chat/phone), log issues, assign priority. Basic troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve basic network/software issues Documentation: Create and update knowledge-base articles, runbooks, and user guides. Testing & QA: Validate fixes, reproduce bugs, and assist with software/hardware test cases. Customer communication: Provide clear status updates, follow-ups, and basic training to end users. Security basics: Follow security policies, report suspicious activity, and assist with endpoint scans under guidance. Project support: Help with small IT projects (migrations, rollouts) and perform assigned tasks. This is an unpaid internship, as we're currently applying for grants. Those who may get college credit from their school are also welcome to apply. We appreciate continuity and will give preference to interns who can commit to at least six months.
