Technology Support Specialist • INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
Overall Goal of Position
Sauer Brands are the proud owners of Duke’s Mayonnaise, as well as other customer loved brands such as Mateo’s Salsa , Kernel Season’s, and Spice Hunter. We are hiring a technology support specialist to help manage our infrastructure and users in Greenville, SC at Sauer Brands largest manufacturing facility. As a member of the Information Technology team, your goal will be to work collaboratively with other IT team members and our 24/7 Helpdesk partner to ensure our systems, security and access are supporting the users throughout the company.
Job Summary
Primary focus of this position is that of an internal support and infrastructure specialist. We are looking for someone with hands on experience working with end users and IT infrastructure that is willing and able to learn about and help support user onboarding, monitor and provide level 2 helpdesk assistance, and provide hands on support in a number of infrastructure areas including enterprise printing, networking, camera and door security, tablets, RF guns, and local servers. This position reports to the Infrastructure Manager.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • General Operations
  • Performs all duties safely, follows all safety guidelines, and proactively participates in site safety programs
  • Computer provisioning/reimaging/decommissioning and general support
  • Onboarding team members including basic training and education on IT policies and acceptable use
  • User offboarding and equipment reprovisioning
  • Ensure all plant IT requests are submitted to Tech Squad help desk
  • Install hardware and peripheral components (such as monitors, keyboards) for users
  • Answer inquiries in person/telephone/email concerning IT technical issues
  • Network infrastructure and hardware maintenance and management
  • Printer support for all types printers (Zebra, Foxjet, enterprise)
  • Support and deployment of Ipads
  • RF Gun deployment and maintenance
  • Advanced support for 365 when level 1 help desk can’t resolve remotely
  • Culture Building
  • Provides guidance/training to new employees and “models the way”
  • Supports plant management in other actions and programs necessary for maintaining the desired company culture

Performance Standards (the criteria that will be used to evaluate performance)

  • Timely onboarding of new users and ongoing knowledge transfer
  • Device imaging and patching
  • Helpdesk ticket management

  • Education & Experience:
  • 2 years college education in Information Systems, Information Technology or a related field preferred
  • Equivalent on-the-job experience may be substituted for formal education
  • Other Nice To Have Experience:
  • Experience with Production OT software, e.g. Bachelor Control, Wonderware
  • MS Intune
  • iOS for ipads & AppleTV
  • Understanding of Zebra Barcode Scanning
  • Verkada door and camera support
