Description In this position, you will be a key member of our IT team whose primary responsibility is to provide technology support company-wide via in-person, over the phone and/or electronic methods. Duties include answering questions and resolving problems concerning the use of computer hardware/software, printing, installation, e-mail, and business operating systems. Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Essential Duties: Answer user inquiries regarding computer software or hardware operation to resolve problems. Oversee the daily performance of computer and communication systems. Read technical manuals, confer with users, or conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems or to provide technical assistance and support. Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software. Train users in the proper use of hardware or software. Refer major hardware or software problems or defective products to vendors or technicians for service. Enter commands and observe system functioning to verify correct operations and detect errors. Maintain records of daily data communication transactions, problems and remedial actions taken, or installation activities. Install and perform minor repairs to hardware, software, or peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications. Prepare evaluations of software or hardware, and recommend improvements or upgrades. Confer with staff, users, and management to establish requirements for new systems or modifications. Inspect equipment and read order sheets to prepare for delivery to users. Requirements 1-3 years of experience and training in computer programs preferred Ability to travel and work independently Detail oriented Self-motivated Excellent communicator Quick learner Strong troubleshooting skills Knowledge of Solar Eclipse ERP is a plus
