Job Description ABOUT YOUR ROLE: Technology Technician acts as a contact point between the production team and other departments. The primary objective of this role is to drive continuous improvement initiatives to maximize production efficiency, enhance overall performance, and significantly reduce manufacturing costs, waste, and Customer Complaint Rates (CCR). YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE: - Join (or lead) some projects to improve or develop new processes to optimize production workflows and increase efficiency. - Identify, analyze, and implement solutions to reduce material waste, operational costs, and machine downtime. - Investigate root causes of quality issues to minimize the Customer Complaint Rate (CCR) and improve product consistency. - Lead or participate in capital investment projects, machine upgrades, and system automation evaluations. - Help other departments with technical related matters to ensure smooth and efficient manufacturing operations. - Train and guide new staffs, operators on standardized operational procedures and continuous improvement mindsets. - Others Tasks as supervisor required. Qualifications - University/College degree in technical majors such as Printing, Industrial Management, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, etc. - 1 to 2 years experience in similar positions (freshers with excellent school results and open mindset are also welcome) - Knowledgeable of production, process control, sample development processes - Strong capability in problem-solving and root cause analysis using methodologies such as DMAIC, 5 Whys (5W), Fishbone Diagram, etc. - Communication in English is a big advantage - Holding a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt or Green Belt certification is a strong advantage. - Understanding of applicable computer systems/software, such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, etc. is a plus Additional Information Don't hesitate to reach out to me [email protected]
