Hybrid requirements: This role has flexible working patterns.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for the procurement and distribution of Hardware & Peripherals across UK & EMEA.
Providing cover and support for procurement activities in APAC and India as and when required. This includes:
Liaising with Vendors on Quotes
Purchase order request management
Placing and proactively tracking Orders with Vendors
Payment and reconciliation orders (both card payments and invoice payments). Ensuring payment made within agreed contractual time frames.
Monitoring Lead times
Advising Site Service Ops on expected delivery dates
Managing the update of the Digital Workplace Orders SharePoint
Working with Vendors to resolve any missing, damaged, and incorrect deliveries
General Escalation activities related to orders
Understands and effectively communicates procurement processes to Service Delivery Managers for each market/Finance and Global Asset Management.
Vendor Relationship Management. This includes:
Assisting Technology Vendor Manager in managing relationships and performance of our 3rd Party Hardware, Telecom and Resource Vendors across International markets and providing support where required.
Involved in feeding into improvement plans as related to 3rd Party engagements or internal sourced partners
Involved in projects relating to procurement process improvement
Partnering with Global Supply Management for Contract negotiations and management of Third-Party vendors
Responsible to provide Procurement oversight to Site Service Operations and Vendor Manager for multiple key strategic suppliers in UK & EMEA (with ad-hoc support being required for APAC and India as required)
Minimum Qualifications:
Prior relevant work experience in Relationship Management or Ordering functions, financial management, data analysis, and IT services
University Degree in related field preferred or equivalent work experience
Knowledge/Skills:
Shown ability to handle multiple contending priorities, including planning, management, and execution of responsibilities
Ability to utilize and grow analytical skills (e.g., strategy, data analysis, managing service levels, etc)
Ability to excel in a demanding environment while maintaining a high attention to detail
