Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities / Outcomes

  • Carrying out security remediations and best practice recommendations.
  • Active Directory/Azure Active Directory maintenance and monitoring
  • Performing system and application patching
  • Deploying new/maintaining existing IT infrastructure, VMware & Hyper-V experience a distinct advantage
  • Designing new and documenting existing IT Infrastructure architecture
  • Deploy updates/new installations via InTune
  • Device Management using Intune
  • Develop server and laptop images, hardened against security standards
  • Manage Autopilot deployment system
  • Ensuring that BCP/DR plans incorporate restoration of Windows Infrastructure and that plans are fully tested
  • Development of automation to carry out operational tasks using PowerShell script

Day to day responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring our windows estate is fully patched, trouble shooting and address failures and gaps in patching.
  • Building deployment packages for release on SCCM/InTune
  • Patch dependency checking and submission of change requests
  • Performing system changes to support vulnerability mitigation
  • Management of GPOs and Intune policies in accordance with policies and standards
