Role description: We are looking for a motivated professional with an interest in fieldwork to join a research project on the behaviour of a pesticide under real crop field conditions as a Field Technician. The work will take place on a pilot plot within an agricultural field, under controlled irrigation and product dosing conditions. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, including national and international experts, working on a project for a leading international client in the sector. Location: Germany Contract type: Temporary contract, 2 months, expected start date in July 2026, full-time position (40 hours/week). Role accountabilities: * Carry out and supervise the field trial, ensuring compliance with the experimental protocols. * Support the setup, launch and monitoring of the experiments, controlling irrigation conditions and pesticide application. * Systematically collect water samples at different points and stages of the trial, following established procedures. * Accurately and rigorously record all activities, observations and data generated, both manually and digitally, using the appropriate equipment. * Work actively with the team of researchers, technicians and other project participants, facilitating communication and the efficient execution of field tasks. * Strictly comply with health, safety and environmental regulations throughout all activities. * Support the logistical management of the trial, including material preparation and on-site coordination with other parties involved. Qualifications & Experience: * Interest and motivation in agriculture and experimental fieldwork. * Ability to work outdoors. * Willingness to learn new procedures and adapt to the needs of the project. * Good organisational and communication skills. * Sufficient level of English to communicate with the international team. * Valid driving licence. The following will also be positively valued: * Basic knowledge of agricultural practices and/or environmental monitoring. * Previous experience in sample collection, data recording or scientific fieldwork. * Training or experience working under GLP standards (Good Laboratory Practice). * Previous experience in agricultural or environmental research projects.
