To realize this goal, we build relationships, develop partner capabilities and programs—at all levels from tactical to strategic. We collaborate closely with internal and external partners to craft plans that scale the business and adoption of the Apple ecosystem. Reporting to the Telco Lead for Africa, Islands, and Middle East, you will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with a large portfolio of telecom operators across the region. Your focus will be on creating win-win strategies to drive sales and adoption of Apple products and services. This role involves direct engagement with telecom operators as well as indirect collaboration through the account management teams of Apple’s value-added distributors in the region. DESCRIPTION - Maintain and manage an excellent relationship with Telco operators and develop a focused and productive alliance with Apple. - Develop and execute both strategic and tactical plans that will result in the successful achievement of Apple’s sell-through targets. - Achieve or exceed assigned sales quotas and become an expert in understanding and driving sales through the channels. - Collaborate with key decision-makers at senior and executive board levels to build and sustain effective partnerships. - Stay informed about competitors' activities, account history, emerging trends, and identify opportunities for growth. - Ensure compliance with the Apple/Telco agreements. - Work with each Telco to ensure competitive positioning of iPhone in all consumer and business offers. - Work with and through various Apple cross-functional teams and support functions to coordinate resources, align on plans, resolve day to day trading issues and deliver shared outcomes for each account. - Enable Apple’s value-added distributors teams responsible for managing Telcos, overseeing both strategic planning and execution. - Collaborate with regional sales leaders to support their overall country strategies and sales objectives. - Increase penetration into new and existing Telco points of sale and expand Apple's focus across Telco sales teams. - Coordinate above-the-line marketing activities, ensuring adherence to and appropriate use of Apple creative assets provided by Apple Marketing teams. - Work with and through various Apple cross-functional teams and support functions to coordinate resources, align on plans, resolve day to day trading issues and deliver shared outcomes for each account. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS You should have strong sales background including a successful track record. Telco experience strongly preferred but not a requirement. Exceptional attention-to-detail, ability to compile and validate large amounts of data, and comprehensively understand data relationships. Strengths in relationship management, teaming across functions, deal making & negotiations. Strong ability to analyse and resolve complex problems in a structured and logical manner. Collaborative and inclusive engagement style that seeks to deliver superior outcomes, regardless of the status quo or perceived boundaries. Ability to handle ambiguity and make things happen. You have successful track record in a fast moving, high growth environment. Demonstrated resilience and flexibility to impact change. You should speak fluent native level English. Arabic strongly preferred but not a requirement. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS BS/BA level preferred
