ABOUT THE JOB YOU’RE CONSIDERING

We are seeking a highly skilled Telecoms Quality Assurance engineer with experience in cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will be assessing solutions for value for money, assuring technical designs, and interfacing with telecom operators. This role does not programming but demands a good understanding of telecoms network infrastructure and applications.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Developed Vetting (DV)
To be successfully appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Developed Vetting (DV) clearance.
To obtain DV clearance, the successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 10 years, along with other very detailed criteria and requirements.
Throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as, but not limited to, country of residence and nationality.
Some posts are restricted to sole UK Nationals for security reasons; therefore, you may be asked about your citizenship in the application process.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Design Assurance: Review the integrity and quality of technical designs, ensuring they meet the organizational requirements.
  • Assess proposed solutions for Value for Money: Evaluate proposed High-Level and Low-Level designs to ensure they provide value for money, considering the lifetime cost/benefit.
  • Interface with Telecom Operators: Act as the primary point of contact with specific telecom operators, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
  • Compliance: Ensure solutions comply with relevant industry standards, good practice, and legal requirements. Refer appropriate matters to other relevant parts of the organisation where necessary.
