Description
Ventia invites applications from skilled and motivated telecommunications professionals for the position of Supervisor based in Tauranga. About the Role This role focuses on managing the end‑to‑end delivery of client projects and programmes of work within the Bay of Plenty, South Waikato, and Coromandel regions. It includes hands‑on field support, full responsibility for project planning, resourcing, scheduling, financial performance, and ensuring all work complies with safety and quality standards. You’ll ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to budget. What You’ll Do Plan, schedule, and resource field work Provide hands‑on technical and field support Liaise closely with the client in the Electrical industry and support pricing activities Oversee H&S, quality, and overall delivery performance Participate in an on‑call roster (some travel overtime required) Model great leadership behaviours and support team culture What You’ll Bring Strong background in radio communications; telco transmission experience Power industry experience (advantageous) NZQA Level 5 Telecommunications qualification or similar Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder skills Experience in delivery planning, risk management, and cost control Knowledge of 2Degrees, Powerco, or Transpower networks (beneficial) Why This Role?
