Description

1. Tele-control / SCADA Technician (Water Control System) Job Description (JD) Install, wire, and test PLC panels and Remote Terminal Units (RTUs) at water facilities. Perform routine and emergency troubleshooting of field devices, including flow meters, pressure transmitters, and water quality analyzers. Assist engineers during Factory Acceptance Tests and Site Acceptance Tests. Maintain detailed records of work logs and maintenance reports. 2. Tele-control / Substation Control System (SCS) Technician Responsible for the routine maintenance of National Control Center (NCC) and Distribution Control Center (DCC) RTUs. Maintain and repair Telecontrol Battery Chargers and UPS systems to ensure continuous operation of substation controls. Receive safety documents from engineers before starting any high-voltage site work and clear them upon completion. 3. Tele-control / (SCADA/DCS/Networking) Technician (Water Mega Reservoirs) Oversee the maintenance and fault rectification of Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and high-level networking hardware at reservoir sites. Perform the physical installation and calibration of DCS and SCADA field devices. Ensure all networking and control systems are operational and provide first-line support to operators. Comply with strict utility regulations and cybersecurity guidelines for Operational Technology (OT) Requirements 1. Tele-control / SCADA Technician (Water Control System) Education: Diploma or Technical Certification in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation. Experience: Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience specifically in SCADA/PLC systems (preferably in water/wastewater). Must hold a valid Qatar Driving License. 2. Tele-control / Substation Control System (SCS) Technician Education: Technical Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Computer Engineering. Experience: 6+ years in a similar role, including at least 3 years of supervisory experience in a maintenance environment. Compliance: Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 certification standards for quality and security. Must hold a valid Qatar Driving License. 3. Tele-control / (SCADA/DCS/Networking) Technician (Water Mega Reservoirs) Education: Technical Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering. Experience: Minimum 6+ years of relevant experience, with a heavy focus on DCS and Networking systems in water utilities. Availability: Must be available for standby rotations to support Water Operation Control. Must hold a valid Qatar Driving License.
