Hiring - Tele-Sales Marketer (Insurance)
Location: Oniru, Lagos
Our client is one of the leading insurance firms in Nigeria with location across different states in Nigeria. They provide life insurance business and non-life insurance business services to Organizations and Private individuals.
The Company is seeking to hire a skilled Tele-Sales Marketer who will be responsible for reaching sales goals and building rapport with customers over the phone. The Tele-Sales marketer navigates a dynamic environment that blends aspects of targeted outreach with traditional telemarketing demands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct targeted outreach to generate new leads through outbound calls.
  • Promote company products or services during customer interactions.
  • Upsell or cross-sell to existing customers.
  • Schedule sales appointments with qualified leads.
  • Gather customer feedback during all interactions.
  • Qualify leads based on established criteria.
  • Adhere to brand messaging guidelines in all customer communications.
  • Effectively handle customer objections.
  • Maintain accurate records of all call activity, including customer information, call outcomes, and lead qualification details.

Meet daily quotas for calls and/or appointments.

Requirements

  • Good First Degree or equivalent in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Information Technology or related field.
  • Membership of Nigerian Insurers Association (NIA), NAICOM License Certification or/and Membership of Chartered Institute of Insurance of Nigeria (CIIN) is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ Cognate experience as a Tele-Sales Marketer or similar role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent Customer service skills
  • Proven ability to reach and effectively communicate with decision-makers.
  • Excellent objection handling and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong ability to balance efficiency and quality in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to maintaining a positive brand image in all interactions.
