Responsibilities

THE ROLE

We’re looking for a compassionate and engaging Telecare Support Worker to join our Adult Carers team. You’ll be at the frontline of our telephone befriending and helpline service, providing regular emotional and practical support to unpaid carers throughout Perth & Kinross. You’ll build meaningful relationships with carers, helping them feel heard, supported, and connected, while reducing the risk of stress and isolation. It’s a chance to make a genuine difference one conversation at a time.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Respond to incoming calls and offer emotional support to unpaid carers
  • Proactively reach out to carers from referrals and maintain contact
  • Record key information and liaise with the team for further support/signposting
  • Promote available local services, aids, and technology to enhance care
