Overview Telecart Technician Fort Dodge, IA 24 hours per week (weekends - Saturday and Sunday), (2) 12 hour shifts per week. Will also work holidays Part-time Benefit Package Telehealth Cart Technician (TCT) will be responsible for the setup, transporting, and troubleshooting of telehealth carts used for virtual patient visits. TCT will ensure that all technology functions smoothly and provide support to healthcare professionals and patients in utilizing telehealth systems, including assisting providers with physical assessments. Responsibilities Key Accountability- Patient Transport and reposition telehealth cart across different rooms within the facility. Assist with physical exam as directed by the Tele-provider. Acknowledges and meet patients’ needs regarding movement as directed by Tele-provider. Assists patients with compliance for exam as directed by Tele-provider in a safe manner. Functions in day-to-day and emergency situations in accordance with nursing standards and as assigned by care team. Facilitates clear, reliable communication through telehealth provider and patient. Communicates with other members of the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care. Other duties as assigned within the scope of practice. Key Accountability- Technology Perform routine maintenance on telehealth cart to ensure operational efficiency. Identify potential issues with telehealth cart hardware, software or network connectivity and elevate to Biomed team as necessary. Follow safety protocols when working with electronic equipment and systems. Qualifications Education: Current CMA certification. High school diploma License(s)/Certification(s): Current CMA certification BLS and Mandatory Reporter certification. MOAB certification obtained with 6 months Valid driver’s license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons.
