Description
Responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting security systems, IP Cameras, Kronos clocks and Cisco Phones. Installs, programs, and service low voltage systems. Qualifications * High School Graduate or GED Equivalent * Minimum of three (3) years of commercial installation experience low voltage and access control. * Network Cable Installer Certification (CNCI) * Hold a valid driver's license for transportation to various job sites * Demonstrate at least 3 years of commercial installation experience in the low voltage and access control field * Familiarity with networking, servers, & VLANS * Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot and repair cable system infrastructure effectively. * Exhibit strong communication and customer service skills when interacting with colleagues and clients * Possess strong multitasking abilities to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. * Familiar with various cable types, including Cat 6 Plenum, 25-Pair, coax, and fiber optic cables, and understand guidelines for ceiling cable installation. * Ability to read and interpret blueprints for cable installation projects. * Familiarity with copper demarcation points and related equipments. * Understand how to use fire stop materials when penetrating walls and ensure proper permitting for cable installations. * Familiar with programming and installing cameras – HIGHLY PREFERRED * Strong communication and multitasking skills. * Ability to lift up to 75.00 lbs.
