JOB SUMMARY

This position provides support to the Enterprise for all aspects of the Telecom services lifecycle from quoting and ordering to disconnect. This position oversees the administration of all Enterprise services from our MAN and WAN circuits. Responsibilities will include reviewing monthly invoices for accuracy and opening disputes with carriers for any issues identified. The Telecom Analyst will also be responsible for managing an up to date inventory of all circuits and services managed by the Network Provisioning group which totals in excess of $6M monthly. In this role you will interact with colleagues across the nation as well as multiple fortune 500 vendors. This position requires someone that has excellent verbal and written communication skills that can work with all levels in the organization including Executives. Problem Management skills are required to effectively meet business objectives and Service Level Agreements.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred

OTHER/SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be able to excel in a very close working team environment as well as independently
  • High degree of initiative and self-motivation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Telecom ordering experience preferred
  • Knowledge of telecom industry terminology required
  • Must be organized and have attention to detail
  • Proficiency with ServiceCentral or equivalent ticketing system to support operations required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to effectively organize tasks, manage multiple priorities/details, meet schedules, and deliver on customer commitments
Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following;

  • Working with multiple carriers to provide quotes for Telecom services for Enterprise consisting of multiple lines of business.
  • Prepare and submit orders to various Telecom providers for data services as well as managing moves, adds, changes, and disconnects for Enterprise.
  • Hosting and attending status meetings with vendors and internal resources.
  • Entering and managing orders into PO processing system when necessary.
  • Manage Enterprise circuit inventory comprised of over 2k circuits including vendor, bandwidth and circuit IDs.
  • Run inventory reports monthly and on an ad hoc bases as needed from TEM portal.
  • Working with Department of Homeland Security and carriers to request and apply Telecommunications Service Priority (TSP) codes for circuits across the Enterprise.
  • Working ticket que in ServiceCentral.
  • Creating process and FAQ documentation.
  • Communicating with support teams for maintenance and outages as well as assisting in escalations.
  • Develop and maintain working relationships based on trust with critical Business Partners and vendors.
  • Ordering and tracking SD-WAN solution.
  • Other duties as assigned
