Description Job Title: Telecom Maintenance Foreman Company: STG Communications Location: Varies, Project Driven- Travel Required Job Type: Full-time Pay: $28-$35 Per Hour Job Summary: The Communications Maintenance Foreman is responsible for leading tower and wireless infrastructure maintenance operations, ensuring safe execution, accurate troubleshooting, and timely system restoration. This role oversees daily rigging and climbing activities while coordinating directly with customers and internal support teams to resolve service-affecting issues efficiently. The ideal candidate brings advanced technical knowledge of wireless systems, strong leadership skills, and the ability to problem-solve in real-time field conditions while maintaining strict safety standards. Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee all tower maintenance operations, including diagnostics, troubleshooting, and system restoration. Supervise daily rigging and climbing activities, ensuring full compliance with safety standards. Direct and mentor Maintenance Technicians during fieldwork and complex troubleshooting scenarios. Communicate professionally with customers and internal support teams regarding service status, outages, and resolutions. Review system layouts, logs, and reports to identify root causes of service issues. Assist with field repairs when necessary, including climbing and rigging support. Maintain accurate documentation of outages, repairs, and maintenance activities. Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement on job sites. Requirements Qualifications Extensive experience in tower maintenance, wireless infrastructure, and cell equipment systems. Proven leadership experience supervising field crews in high-risk environments. Strong knowledge of rigging, climbing procedures, and safety regulations. Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as required. Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality standards.
