Job Responsibilities: * Detailed design of telecom tasks. * Participate in studies. * Estimate telecom tasks. * Prepare job packages and follow up on deliveries. * Discipline check of design basis (studies, drawings, and job packages). * Follow up with suppliers, package responsibility. * Participate in pre-test/FAT at the supplier. * Participate in inspections onshore/offshore. * Able to take on training responsibilities for new engineers. * Perform as-built. Required Qualifications: * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Telecom/Instrumentation/Automation * Alternatively, a Technical College degree with extensive experience in Engineering projects on the Norwegian Oil and Gas industry. Desired Experience: * A minimum of 5 years of experience in offshore-related projects. * Strong experience in engineering design. * Proficiency in Norwegian, both spoken and written. * Alternatively, strong English skills, both spoken and written. * Good knowledge of standards such as ATEX, Norsok, Equinor TR (Technical Requirements), STID, ProCoSys, ARIS. * Extensive knowledge of modifications on operational offshore installations (VEM/M&M). * Strong knowledge of telecommunication system, network infrastructure and fiber-optic technologies used in the oil industry. Required courses and certificates: * Offshore sertifikat med helivelt * Helseattest * Grunnleggende EX kurs - Minimum 6-8 timer online eller 22,5 timer i klasserom * FSE høy og lavtspent med praktisk førstehjelp Work Location: Bergen Planned start date: 07/04/2026 Planned end date: 11/03/2028
