Job Description
Computer World Services Corp (CWS) is seeking an experienced Telecom Specialist to manage and support telecommunications and network systems, with a specialization in Cisco hardware and services. This role also involves Dell hardware repair, WAN/LAN infrastructure management, and network performance monitoring. The ideal candidate will be experienced in hardware engineering, troubleshooting, and providing production support to maintain a reliable and efficient network environment.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Four years of relevant experience may substitute for the educational requirement.

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in network installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • Hands-on experience with WAN and LAN infrastructure design and management.
  • Proven track record in Dell hardware repairs and support.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Proficient in Cisco hardware and services.
  • Strong understanding of communication protocols, network architectures, and software systems.
  • Experience with network performance monitoring tools like SolarWinds.
  • Knowledge of cabling and infrastructure support best practices.

Certifications

  • CCNA, CCNP Preferred
  • ITIL certification v4 preferred.

Security Clearance

  • Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.

Other (Travel, Work Environment, DoD 8570 Requirements, Administrative Notes, etc.)

  • Potential hybrid work available for this position.
