Install, configure, and maintain ship-to-shore telecom systems Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues Implement and manage SSL/TLS certificates and secure communication channels Ensure system availability, security, and compliance with industry standards Coordinate with onshore and vessel teams for technical support and upgrades Requirements Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as a Telecom Technician Proven experience working with ship-to-shore communication systems Strong experience with SSL (Secure Sockets Layer / TLS) for secure network communications Solid understanding of IP networking, routing, and switching Ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize telecom and data links Experience working in maritime, offshore, or port environments

Responsibilities

The Telecom Technician will install, configure, and maintain ship-to-shore telecom systems while monitoring network performance and resolving connectivity issues. They will also implement and manage SSL/TLS certificates to ensure secure communication channels.
