Description

Installing Fiber/Coax lines at the service level.

Responsibilities include:

  • Driving company truck
  • Travel from site to site
  • Install Aerial and Buried service cables
  • Jetting fiber through existing pipe
  • Splicing fiber at customer premise and at property line
  • Testing signal level at customer premise
  • Trouble shooting problem service cables
  • Setting up a safe work site
  • Use of hand tools

Requirements:

  • Driver abstract
  • Criminal background check
  • Able to work flexible hours
  • Experience in the telecommunication field installing service drops
  • Able to read and interpret underground Telco designs is a plus
  • An understanding of underground utilities is a plus
  • Able to read and interpret utility locates is a plus

  • Valid Ontario Drivers license’s
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Experienced in operating small equipment is a plus

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
