Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Telecommunications Engineer plays a key role in the delivery and support of telecommunications services, with a focus on deploying, configuring, and maintaining systems to ensure availability, stability, and compliance with technical standards. Working closely with Senior Engineers and other technical teams, the role involves executing operational tasks, resolving technical issues, and supporting the implementation of solutions. The Engineer contributes to a secure and reliable environment while identifying opportunities to improve service performance. The position also collaborates with project teams and vendors to ensure technical alignment and effective service delivery.

You will be a telecommunications professional with experience in network infrastructure, telephony systems, and contact centre technologies. You bring strong technical knowledge, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to manage competing priorities. Your clear communication, problem-solving skills, and collaborative approach support effective service delivery. You will also have the following skills and experience to support your success in the role:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in telecommunications engineering, including experience with various telecommunications technologies (e.g., voice, data, video).
  • 1–3 years’ experience in designing, deploying, and configuring complex telephony, VoIP, and unified communications systems, with a strong track record in incident management and technical issue resolution.
  • ICT / Technology professional with 1 – 3 years of experience in deploying, configuring, and maintaining services.
  • Skilled in carrying out operational tasks, resolving technical issues, and assisting with the implementation of technical solutions
