JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for an internal Fibre Installation Engineer (FTTH) to carry out end-user customer installations in residential properties. As a customer facing role, we are looking for individuals with the right attitude and excellent customer service skills.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Working at height
• Installing a network connection point in customer premises in line with client specification
• Driving to customers houses and premises
• Liaising with customers and ensuring great customer service
• Adhering to Health and Safety legislation
• Explaining the new connection to customers and ensuring they are fully satisfied
• Completing relevant risk assessments, self-auditing and apps
• Pro-actively address customer enquiries, resolve issues and obtain customer feedback
• Work as an individual and as part of a team to achieve targets and KPIs
• Train and upskill colleagues
• Any other duties commensurate with the accountabilities of the role

YOU WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS AND BE ABLE TO PROVE EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCE:

• Must hold a full UK driving licence
• Previous experience of completing fibre installs in residential properties
• Excellent customer service skills
• Confident working at height and in underground network
• Excellent communication skills
• Hold a valid NRSWA street works Operative unit 2 card (desirable)
• Hold or have held Fibre / FTTP accreditations (desirable)
• Risk assessment and hazard identification and a strong focus on Health and Safety practices.
