POSITION SUMMARY

The Telecommunications Specialist supports the administration, deployment, and maintenance of the organization’s enterprise communications systems. This role assists with configuring telephony services, mobile device management, and telecommunications infrastructure while providing technical support to end users. The Specialist position serves as an entry point into telecommunications, providing hands-on learning while supporting day-to-day operations.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Education Requirements-
  • Associate’s degree or bachelor’s degree in information technology, telecommunications, a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum two years of applicable experience.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, or MDM platform certifications (Intune, JAMF) preferred.
  • Abilities and Skills-
  • Knowledge of telecommunications systems, mobile device platforms, and enterprise voice systems.
  • Familiarity with networking fundamentals, wireless technologies, and cellular networks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
