Job Title: Telecommunications Technician

Pay Range: CA$20 – CA$25 per hour
We are currently seeking a Telecommunications Technician for Full-Time Position who is an enthusiastic, customer-focused Full-Time TELUS Smart Home Security Installer in Vancouver, BC and nearby areas. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience whole-home security system installation and repair primarily on TELUS services. If you’re eager to grow within the telecommunications industry, we also offer training for the right, motivated individual.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Diploma or certification in Telecommunications, IT, or a related field is considered an asset
• Confident communicator, able to train and interact with customers effectively
• Previous experience in telecom, electrical, electronics, cabling, or related industries is an advantage

REQUIREMENTS:

• Reliable white-colored vehicle
• Basic tools
• A valid class-5 driver’s license
• Must pass a Criminal Background check.
• Customer oriented

• Install, configure, and service wireless home alarm systems (Qolsys panel)
• Securely mount keypads, door/window sensors, and other devices
• Drill and prepare areas for camera wiring installations
• Perform service work using proper tools, testing equipment, and approved techniques
• Deliver outstanding customer service and on-site technical support
