Telecoms Engineers – PON Build (Openreach Network)
Location: Devon, UK Salary: Competitive, based on experience Contract Type: Full-time / Permanent
We’re seeking experienced Telecoms Engineers with a strong background in Passive Optical Network (PON) builds on the Openreach network. If you hold the right accreditations and have a passion for delivering high-quality fibre infrastructure, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-end PON build and installation across the Openreach network
• Working on overhead and underground networks
• Ensuring all work complies with Openreach standards and health & safety regulations
• Accurate documentation and reporting of completed works

Essential Accreditations

Candidates will ideally hold the following valid Openreach and industry certifications:

• K008 – UG Cabling
• K009 – OH Cabling
• N027 – UG Sub Duct & Cable Install
• N028 – OH Cable Install
• MT003
• IPAFF – MEWP Operation
• SA001 – Safety Awareness
• SA002 – Underground Safety
• SA010 – Fibre Optic Cabling
• SA051C – Blown Fibre
• STREETWORKS – NRSWA Units (Operative/Supervisor)

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in PON builds on the Openreach network
• Strong understanding of fibre technologies and network architecture
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Full UK driving licence

Pay: £30,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
