We are looking for someone that is technically minded, confident with customer engagement, and loves to solve a problem and provide exemplary service, is this you? You’ll part of the Operational Service Team as a Telecoms engineer providing support for our customers.

The main responsibilities will include providing remote / onsite support, installing and configuring hardware and software components and to perform system builds. You will train users as required on all hardware and software. You’ll also support the service desk.

  • Provide technical support, trouble shooting in order to resolve incidents.
  • Handling support or service requests for connectivity and telecoms systems.
  • Conduct risk assessments and adhere to health and safety regulations before starting installation work.
  • Managing incoming support requests via the support system, telephone and e-mail and deal with such requests in a timely manner to completion or escalation.
  • Providing consistent and prompt support and guidance to a high standard for all customers, keeping them informed of progress in the event of issues not being resolved immediately.
  • The ability to prioritise your workload, triage problems and escalate where required.

We are looking for someone who has / is;

  • Experience in the Telecoms industry is required.
  • Knowledge of managed & structured cabling, or Wi-Fi connectivity including routers, switches, access points.
  • Skilled in installing and maintaining telecommunication systems, including PBX and broadband.
  • Experience in delivering telecom projects (build, installations, customer training).
  • You’ll need to be able to work on your own utilising self-initiative to make decisions in the interest of the customer and business.
  • Excellent customer facing skills.
  • Full (Valid) UK driving licence (as the role includes company vehicle).
