JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled Telehandler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a telehandler to move, lift, and transport materials on construction sites or warehouses. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical operations and the ability to work safely and efficiently in a dynamic environment.

SKILLS

• Strong mechanical knowledge, with the ability to troubleshoot minor issues with equipment.
• Valid commercial driving licence is preferred for operating larger vehicles on site.
• Experience in digging operations is advantageous, enhancing versatility on the job.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and supervisors.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols in all operations.

• Operate the telehandler to lift and transport materials to designated areas.
• Ensure the safe loading and unloading of materials from lorries and storage areas.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on the telehandler to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to coordinate material handling tasks.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Assist in digging tasks as required, utilising mechanical knowledge for effective operation.
