Responsibilities

THE ROLE

We are seeking a Psychiatry Registrar to join our telehealth team. Working under the supervision of our senior psychiatrists, you will support patient assessments, treatment planning, and ongoing care. This role offers exposure to cutting-edge treatments, close mentorship, and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to patient outcomes in an emerging field.
This role suits a registrar who is eager to learn about novel therapies, enjoys working flexibly via telehealth, and is committed to safe, structured, patient-centred care.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct psychiatric assessments and reviews under consultant supervision
  • Contribute to diagnosis and treatment planning for patients via telehealth
  • Support prescribing and monitoring of intranasal esketamine (Spravato) within your scope of practice and with consultant oversight
  • Monitor treatment response and safety, escalating as needed
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team (nurses, psychologists, care coordinators) to deliver integrated care
  • Maintain accurate and compliant medical records
  • Participate in clinical discussions and contribute to service development
