Join us and be a part of this journey of healing and hope for thousands of children and teens.  Job Summary Using web-based technology, the Telehealth Therapist will provide trauma-informed case management and therapy to children and adolescents being served by residential and/or acute programs. Collaborates with treatment teams, hospital liaisons, schools, mental health centers, and the community to collectively address individual needs of each client on their caseload.  Will travel as needed to sites in order to provide additional support to therapy and admissions teams.  KVC employees are expected to work with children and families, community partners and each other using KVC values: The heart of our work is helping people. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES  * Other duties may be assigned according to qualification of staff and development of programs. * Practice conduct that displays respect for all KVC colleagues and community stakeholders regardless of age, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, religion, or ethnicity. * Conducts individual, group and family therapy using telephonic and web-based technology provided by KVC. * Travel to Hospital sites when needed for in-person meetings and therapy sessions. Participates as a part of a multidisciplinary treatment team and complete comprehensive intake and assessments, initial and master treatment plans and discharge summaries. * Completes required documentation, including phone calls and visitations, forms and reports per agency's policy and procedures; enters documentation accurately and in time according to KVC Hospitals guidelines. * Requires comprehensive knowledge of youth’s history, plan of care and discharge plan and available for consultation on a 24/7 hour on-call basis. * May participate in Utilization Review functions and reporting to insurance companies and payors. * Maintain current employee profile in KVC’s HRIS tool. * Maintain current knowledge of and adhere to all KVC policies. * Provides crisis intervention when necessary and use approved tools, techniques and resources available. * Facilitate treatment review meetings with guardian, MCO, and community partners in person or by phone. * Creates and maintain secure, safe, pleasant, nurturing living and learning environments both virtually and when on-site. * Maintain compliance with state, federal and all licensure and accrediting bodies. All employees must be at least 21 years of age.  Education: Master’s Degree in Social Work, Family Therapy, Counseling from an accredited institution and licensed to practice in the state(s) in which you practice. Professional Licensure/Certification:  LMSW, LSW, LSCSW, LCSW, LPC, LCPC, LMFT, LCMFT or other professional license issued/approved by the state(s) in which you practice. Clinical licensure preferred. Valid driver’s license and auto insurance. Experience/Skills:  * Minimum of three year’s supervised experience in providing individual, family and group therapy to children and/or adolescents. Documented course work in child/adolescent development and individual, family and group counseling. Previous experience providing telehealth preferred. * Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook.
